Professor BenBassat is a prominent leader in the areas of optimization and decision support. Professor BenBassat has founded two companies based on his research work, ClickSoftware and Plataine. ClickSoftware is the leading provider of service optimization solutions, including service scheduling, resource and capacity optimization, analytics, and demand forecasting. With a successful academic career at USC, Tel Aviv University and UCLA, BenBassat’s research work took place in collaboration with many leading institutions including DARPA, NIH, NASA, and NSF.

Avner Ben-Bassat

President & CEO
Avner Ben-Bassat is the President & CEO of Plataine Technologies Ltd., with over 15 years of experience in the field of complex, multi-dimensional optimization software for the services and manufacturing segments. Avner leads Plataine’s Total Production Optimization (TPO) product vision and global business strategy. He holds an MBA with distinction from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BSc (Magna Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University.

Eduard Goldner

PhD, Chief Scientist
Eduard Goldner has been Plataine’s algorithmic team leader and chief scientist for over 13 years. Prior to that, Eduard has served as a system analyst and software engineer at ClickSoftware. He has also served as a consultant for a number of organizations, including Holoor, IGS, and Indigo, and holds a patent on the optical design of Indigo’s best-selling laser printer. Eduard conducted his post-doctoral research in nonlinear optics at The Weizmann Institute, and received his PhD in Applied Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

George Kozarev

VP Services & Customer Success
George leads all pre- and post-sale Technical Support and Professional Services at Plataine. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, George developed extensive experience in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement and software implementation. Prior to joining Plataine, George served in a range of roles on the production floor, including Production Planning, Engineering Management, and Business Information Management. George holds a Bachelor’s in Business and an MBA degree.

Amir Ben-Assa

VP Marketing & Product Strategy
Amir Ben-Assa brings over 15 years of marketing and business development experience to the Plataine team. Prior to joining the company, he served as VP Marketing and Business Development for RFKeeper, a provider of Plug & Play RFID Solutions for retail. Formerly he was Director of Marketing for AeroScout, a leading RFID solution provider for HC, manufacturing and logistics enterprises. Amir is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at Tel-Aviv University and holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology.

Raviv Segal

CFO
Raviv leads all Financial, Budgeting and Accounting activities at Plataine, bringing to his role 20 years of managerial and financial experience. Prior to joining Plataine, Mr. Segal served as CFO of G. Willi-Food International Ltd. (NADSAQ: WILC), and before that he served as Controller and CFO in several High-Tech and Medical Device companies, as well as a senior Audit Manager at Deloitte Israel. Raviv is a certified public accountant (Israel). He holds a BB in Accounting & Business Management from the College of Management – Academic Studies (COMAS).

Gil Cooper

VP R&D
Gil Cooper has over 20 years of experience in developing innovative software for global tech companies, including multiple cutting-edge Silicon Valley startups. His career includes managing development teams across continents, building products and teams from scratch, and advising Fortune 500 companies. Gil has expertise in developing SaaS platforms using cloud technologies. Gil holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Statistics from Bar Ilan University and a PMP certification from Virginia Tech.

Clay Bolick

VP Operations, North America
Clay Bolick, has over twenty years of experience in the furniture industry. Bolick joined Plataine after sixteen years with Rieter Greensboro, the US distributor for Shoda routers, where he was a Sales and General Manager of the Woodworking Machinery Division. Prior to that, he was an account manager at Powermatic, a machinery manufacturer and distributor to woodworking industry. Bolick earned his B.A. degrees in Economics and Business Management from North Carolina State University.

Orly Sanovsky

VP of Human Resources
Orly joined Plataine in 2006 and is responsible for planning and managing human resources programs and directing staff. In addition, Orly implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and labor relations. Orly holds a BA Degree in Criminology and Human Resources Management.
