Operational Intelligence

Operational Intelligence (OI) is an approach to data analysis that enables decisions and actions in business operations to be based on real-time data as it’s generated or collected by companies. In addition, Operational Intelligence can be used to automatically trigger responses to specified events or conditions. Manufacturing Operational Intelligence (MOI) is the framework of integrated software and services that bring together a company’s manufacturing and operations data helping companies make faster decisions, avoid abnormal behavior, improve time-to–value, and optimize operations.

By its very nature, and with the interest in digital transformation on the rise, manufacturing is now seen as a very data-driven process. Therefore, manufacturing intelligence requires tools to gain improved insights into managing costs, operations, and profitability. By enabling operational intelligence solutions for modern manufacturing companies, software and analytics come together and manufacturing operations are hugely improved.
