Plataine is looking for an experienced Devops Engineer to be a part of an agile team of professionals, working together to build software for the factory of the future.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of our Cloud Platform across multiple environments
• Develop and enhance our devops infrastructure with scale and security in mind
• Drive technical innovation, to achieve cost efficiency and effectiveness
• Advocate for cloud best practices and well-architected principles
• Consult R&D management with anything devops
• Manage and enhance our CI/CD pipelines
• Lead devops initiatives including conducting research, solution evaluation and analysis
• Define standards, best-practices, and knowhows for your domain

Position Description:

Skills Required

• 2+ years of industry experience in a hands-on DevOps role 
• Great communication skills (you’ll be working with many people!)
• Understanding of best practice DevOps and architecture methodologies     
• scripting skills (Bash, Groovy etc.)       
• Experience in Linux Systems Administration, scripting and troubleshooting       
• Experience on at least one major cloud platform: AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with SaaS applications at scale       
• Experience with Docker/ECS (Kubernetes is an advantage)        
• Experience with configuration management tools and cloud automation (eg. TerraForm, Chef, Ansible, etc.)       
• Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Circle CI/Spinnaker,etc.)       
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (NewRelic, Splunk, ELK)       
• Good self-management skills and ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks coming in simultaneously       
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently       
• Good understanding of networking and security concepts
• Experience writing design & architecture documents, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts.
