Job Description
We’re looking for QA automation engineer with at least 1 year of experience in automation development (Java + Selenium).
Required Skills and Experience
- Great business analysis skills to determine test strategy for automation
- Experience with developing and maintaining test scripts and regression suites
- Experience with web applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Understanding software development lifecycle
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
- Experience working with SQL and noSql databases
Advantages:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Amazon, Google, Microsoft)
- Working with Rest API tools such as Postman, RestEasy
- Knowledge in Linux
- Academic degree or equivalent, preferably technical.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS
- Automatic testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress
Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts utilizing modular frameworks and best practices
- Documents and manages project issues, clarifications, and defects
- Execute test scripts to validate correct functionality of application
- Perform various types of manual testing
- Participate in requirement & design review sessions; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint
- Help drive and improve QA process within the team you are assigned
