Plataine Names Avner Ben-Bassat as PresidentTel-Aviv, Israel, July 1, 2008 – Plataine, a leading provider of integrated production optimization solutions announced today that Avner Ben-Bassat, Plataine’s VP of Product Marketing, has been appointed President.
Ben-Bassat succeeds Elery Pfeffer, who has decided to pursue new opportunities. "It has been a privilege to serve the customers and team of Plataine," said Pfeffer. We wish him the best in his new career move,” said Ben-Bassat. Before joining Plataine, Ben-Bassat was a member of Avaya’s Pricing Strategy team and later served as an independent pricing consultant. Prior experience includes product development and professional services roles at ClickSoftware, a provider of optimization solutions for leading service organizations worldwide. Ben-Bassat holds an MBA (with distinction) from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BSc (Magna Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University. “Plataine offers highly innovative solutions, which consistently continue to produce compelling value to a fast-growing community of delighted customers.
