Woodworking Industry Veteran Clay Bolick Joins Nester SoftwareJanuary 31, 2006 -- Ball Ground, Georgia. In a move to strengthen its presence in the North American upholstery manufacturing market, Nester Software today announced the appointment of industry veteran Clay Bolick to lead the company’s sales to this market. Bolick, who is joining Nester as Sales Executive for the NESTERwood product line, brings over twenty years of experience in the upholstery industry. Bolick joins Nester after sixteen years with Rieter Greensboro, the US distributor for Shoda routers. Throughout his career, Bolick has assisted many leading upholstery manufacturers in keeping up with technology and automate production processes with CNC routers and other advanced machinery.
“Manufacturers are under constant pressure from both domestic and overseas competition. Efficiency is becoming a matter of survival for upholstery manufacturers,” says Bolick. “I find tremendous satisfaction in helping these companies become more competitive through the use of the most advanced technology, which is what CNC routers used to be when I first started selling them. When I saw NESTERwood, I realized that’s what manufacturers need in order to take efficiency to the next level.”
NESTERwood enables upholstery manufacturers to optimize material utilization, improve machine productivity, and shorten manufacturing cycles. Using NESTERwood, manufacturers are able to respond to market dynamics and remain viable in an increasingly competitive global environment, facing customer demands for highly customized, made-to-order products at competitive prices and with shorter delivery times. “We are honored to have Bolick join the company,” says Richard Crowder, Nester's Vice President of Sales. “Having a person with his level of expertise will ensure that Nester continues to address the most pressing industry challenges.”
