Moshe BenBassat, Chairman and Founder
Professor BenBassat is a prominent leader in the areas of optimization and decision support. Professor BenBassat has founded two companies based on his research work, ClickSoftware and Plataine. ClickSoftware, a publicly traded company (Ticker: CKSW), is a leading provider of service optimization solutions, including service scheduling, resource and capacity optimization, analytics, and demand forecasting. With a successful academic career at USC, Tel Aviv University and UCLA, BenBassat’s research work took place in collaboration with many leading institutions including DARPA, NIH, NASA, and NSF.

Avner Ben-Bassat, President & CEO
Avner Ben-Bassat joined Plataine as Vice President, Product Marketing, and was promoted to President & CEO in June 2008. Prior to joining Plataine, Avner was a member of Avaya’s pricing strategy team, leading a set of initiatives to increase revenues and profitability. Prior experience includes product development and professional services roles at ClickSoftware, a provider of optimization solutions for leading service organizations worldwide. Avner holds an MBA (with distinction) from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BSc (Magna Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University.

Eduard Goldner, PhD, Chief Scientist
Eduard Goldner has been Plataine’s algorithmic team leader and chief scientist for over 13 years. Prior to that, Eduard has served as a system analyst and software engineer at ClickSoftware. He has also served as a consultant for a number of organizations, including Holoor, IGS, and Indigo, and holds a patent on the optical design of Indigo’s best-selling laser printer. Eduard conducted his post-doctoral research in nonlinear optics at The Weizmann Institute, and received his PhD in Applied Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Arik Shental, Director of Research and Development
Arik leads the Research and Development team at Plataine, following a 5 year tenure at Plataine as a R&D Team Leader. Prior to joining Plataine, Arik was a Software Development Engineer at Intel’s major R&D center in Israel. Arik has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Clay Bolick, Director of Sales, North America
Clay Bolick, has over twenty years of experience in the furniture industry. Bolick joined Plataine after sixteen years with Rieter Greensboro, the US distributor for Shoda routers, where he was a Sales and General Manager of the Woodworking Machinery Division. Prior to that, he was an account manager at Powermatic, a machinery manufacturer and distributor to woodworking industry. Bolick earned his B.A. degrees in Economics and Business Management from North Carolina State University.

Moriah Royz, Director of Product Management and Product Marketing
Moriah joined Plataine in July, 2007 and is responsible for the Product Management and Product Marketing activities at Plataine. Prior to joining Plataine, Moriah was a Product Manager at Kodak in a group that developed ERP for the printing industry. Prior experience includes ERP and PDM implementations and system analysis in operational and engineering environments at Creo-Scitex. Moriah holds an MBA and a BSc in Management Industrial Engineering, both from Tel Aviv University.

Adi Peleg, Director of Professional Services and Support
Adi is in charge of the professional services & support team at Plataine. Prior to joining Plataine, Adi was a Program Manager and Technical Account Manager at Microsoft, where he developed extensive experience in complex software project management and developing long-term account relationships. Adi holds a dual Engineer degree in Software Engineering and Industrial Management.

Eli Allouche, Regional Director of Business Development
Eli has been with Plataine since 1999 and is in charge of business development activities. Eli has served in Plataine as QA manager with previous experience in the multimedia software company, Edusoft. Eli holds a dual B.A. in Asian Studies and International Relations from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
