Q. The manufacturing environment in my facility is different than at other companies. How do I know that Plataine will save me time and reduce material waste?: A. Although Plataine has proven to save time and money for more than one hundred customers, the best way to make sure it will do the same for you is to test it out.

Send us your data and we will run a free test that will show you how Plataine can take your parts, nest them on the material you use, and create a program that works on your machines. Needless to say, full confidentiality of your data is guaranteed.
Q. I have a library of parts and have been using the same CAD application for many years. Will Plataine work with it?: A. Plataine integrates with many of the well established CAD/CAM applications such as AutoCAD, SolidEdge, Gerber Technologies, Toray, Asahi, VetiGraph, and others. The Plataine software can read most common file formats, including, DXF, HPGL, NC-CUT, and CRV, so you can easily import your existing files into the software.

Q. Will Plataine integrate with my ERP system to eliminate redundant data entry and streamline the manufacturing process?: A. Yes, Plataine provides several different integration modules to suit almost any situation-- even proprietary systems. Our simplest links can even use Excel or an ASCII file. We also develop custom integration for customers that have special requirements.

Q. What kind of support does Plataine provide during and after implementation?: A. Plataine is committed to support you throughout the implementation process and beyond. Prior to any implementation, our professional services experts will analyze your production environment and recommend the most suitable system configuration.

To ensure a smooth implementation, our consultants will install the system at your site, test it in real production runs, and train your people to work with the system. Following implementation, we offer two support plans that cover remote and on-site support options, as well as regular software updates. Q. Sounds good! How much does your average system cost?: A. Every manufacturing environment is different, and we tailor our solution and module composition according to our customers’ needs. On average, the system pays itself back within six months.
